19-10-2016 | Orange’s waste facility on Ophir Road will offer a free drop off of household and garden chemicals in conjunction with Netwaste on Saturday October 29.

Bundle up your old or unused kitchen, bathroom, or garden chemicals stored at home and take them to the tip.

You can drop off a range of items including fluro globes, old bas bottles, paint and paint tins, oils, garden chemicals and more which are usually not able to be placed in the bins for weekly collection by council’s contractor’s JR Richards.

Other items you can dispose of free of charge on the day are all pesticides and herbicides, floor care products, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, motor fuel and oils and cooking oils.

For a full list of items you can clean out and take to the tip for no charge, go to www. Netwaste.org.au
